The Nook e-Reader -- WiFi and 3G

WiFi Vs 3G?  Personally, I prefer WiFi. I have WiFi in my home, and almost everywhere I would go in public has WiFi. Advantage to 3G?  Your Nook will can connect virutally anywhere; anywhere there is a 3G cellular network.  No monthly charge for this. 3G will free you from the limits of having to be in a WiFi zone. Personally, I am always in a WiFi zone, so for me there was no point in spending the extra 50 bucks for the 3G

Either way, the following features are found on both WiFi and 3G Nooks:

  • Over 2 million books — download wirelessly in seconds

  • Reads like paper with crisp, clear text

  • Extra-long battery life, read for days

  • Exclusive LendMe™ lets you share reading with friends

  • Just-Like-Paper Reading Experience
NOOK's best-in-class E Ink® display is easy on the eyes, with text as crisp and clear as a printed page. The 16-level gray scale display offers great contrast with no glare or backlight so you can read with ease, even in bright sunlight.
